I’ll start by saying, these two have SUCH a unique and special story. I will probably share more details with their wedding blog when we get to that point to wrap it up full circle, but I want to highlight a few things about them and their engagement session for now.
David and Allie are two of the most genuine, caring people, who each have a very strong and evident relationship with the Lord. This connected them both right away when they first met, and they immediately felt God’s powerful hand on them and their story – throughout their dating relationship, to getting engaged, and to getting married earlier this spring. David is the founder and pastor at Valiant Ministries International, and Allie is a teacher and amazing artist – check out her incredible work and Etsy shop here: Allie Grams Studio. With the foundation of their relationship, and now marriage rooted firmly in a love for God and being His disciples, their love story is one that is absolutely an honor to witness and share through photos. I’m literally so blessed by the couples and people God has brought into my life.
Due to the craziness of COVID-19, they had to postpone their original wedding from May to August – but, they went ahead and got married in April with only their closest family by their sides. We will be going through their original wedding day plans in August, and I seriously can’t wait to see how God moves and uses these two and their marriage to shine God’s truth and love in a time when our world so desperately needs it.
For now, enjoy some of my absolute favorites from hanging out with these two on a hot, buggy, but beautiful summer night in Hidden Falls Regional Park, and along the Mississippi riverfront in downtown St. Paul!
